Panaque Nigrolineatus in a planted tank
Panaque Nigrolineatus in a planted tank
I have got a plec Panaque Nigrolineatus that I would like to put in a planted tank not really as the algae eater as there are already shrimps and ottos in there.
I wondered if the Panaque would eat the plants and if it would be OK with the CO2 injection that is used for the plants?, would the higher CO2 levels in a planted tank be OK for a fish like this which comes from rivers in the wild ?
The water quality is good in this tank with zero nitrates so I think he would do well in there
