Plec ID Please

Post by Squidward »

Hi All,

A lfs not far from me was closing down and selling these Plecs cheap. So I couldn't resist.

Any idea of what they may be?
Also, are they a pair? Or the same sex?

Possibly (L037), but the photo isn't clear enoough for me to say 100% - a side on shot would also help.

I will try and take a side shot.

The shape of the heads is slightly different. Is one a male and one a female?

Hi,

the pics aren´t good, but the typical pattern of H. faveolus is pretty good to see. H. plecostomus doesn´t have a pattern like a comb.

Might be my monitor, but I had to look really closely to see the honeycomb pattern. Yes, if thre have this they are not H. plecostomus.
