Possible L182?

Hi guys,

these fish where originally advertised as 183's,

got there and am pretty sure there not the 183 as advertised (although have read at about 10cm they lose there seam)

felt sorry for the little guys so took them anyway,

question is...what are they if not 183's,

my original thought is the 182.....

these guys are aprox 1.5 to 2 years old, they are 4" long and thats about all i know !

the first pic shows male to the right female to the left, also i compaired the lighter patch marking to an old post i found back in 2006 on this sign and there prity much identical to some one elces fish,



the next couple are all of the male, he managed to stay still for a while,

hummm, here is a top pic of a couple of 183's? regards the lighter markings.....

Apart from

Ancistrus dolichopterus

(L183), the "starry night" (or whatever you call them) are hard to identify without a capture location - there are several that look very similar from different locations.

A. dolichotperus is special in that it has 9 or more dorsal rays, which is unusual.
