Panaque cochliodon - A lovely big 'ol Blue Eyes, I think some lucky chap already has these.





Pseudorinelepis cf. gennibarbis L095 - A strange prehistoric looking plec, and is bold and active (for a plec that is).







Pseudopimelodus zungaro - I really liked these, they have a great OMG! expression all the time.

Dianema sp. - These are a great fish to watch swimming and friendly towards everything. Tied for my favourite fish of the day.

Baryancistrus xanthellus 'L177' - This fella was tied for my favourite fish as well. A really gorgeous specimen, the best thing being the size of it's spots. At this size they tend to be far smaller and more like glitter. Hard to leave behind.

Zungaro zungaro

which is a whopper and not a

Pseudopimelodus

. It's just one of those names still used by exporters but incorrectly.

We do not have Dianema spp listed above or in our shop ???

Some confusion here - worth looking at the thread top to bottom. I think Sidguppy meant

Dianema

species (sp = singular) in reference to the pics by Matthew. His use of the plural (spp = plural e.g. more than one species) would seem to include the D. urostriata listed but I think this was unintentional.

The dorsal fin spine is half the size of the first soft ray in

Hoplosternum

and about the same size as the first soft ray in

Dianema

. It's a good spot (pun intended) by Sidguppy and I'd use the pics on the site here as I don't think we've got good ones of

Hoplosternum punctatum

.

Not really except for Dekeyseria sp L052 but been seeing them for about five years as common here at least...unless you mean non catfish.. or maybe on a larger scale than currently visible from where I look from?..which as a noob is probably the bottom

I'd be more than happy for you to use them. The two I posted were the best, and another four which are worse. The original photos are 4000x3000 and 4.4MB. Let me know what you know what you want to do.
