Congratulations!

few questions
Could you please show your mature L002? How big they are? What kind of caves prefer (size, material) and what is ph, kh, gh, T of water in aqua?

L066 is looking very small for 10 month age... how big is your tank?

My L168 always bred in a open ended piece of driftwood, it has like a hollow log cut in half so the bottom was open to the substrate. Might be worth adding something similar to your set up if you can.

I had 4 males and 6 females and was getting a batch every 3-4 weeks, I could have had more frequent spawns if I provided extra caves/logs most likely, but the males just used them on a rotation and they never lost too much condition that way.

One of my newly set up breeding groups of my own F1 L134 began breeding in a tank where I was trying to over come a bacterial cloudy water bloom. I was changing most of their water almost every day. The first spawn occurred while I still had the bacterial bloom problem. That really surprised me.
I had a partially cycled filter problem contributing to the bacterial bloom.
Situation was similar to the way you were changing more water than usual to clean out the Planarian worm problem. Once they started they have continued to spawn regularly.
I would like to see "The Viagra Effect" occur in my L260 tank. I have too many in a 29 gallon, tall style tank so I am going to move the group of 25 to 30 to a 40 gallon breeder style tank. Only some of the wild and F1's are spawning. There are about 12 F2's that are still too small and young to breed. They are about 2 inches long and 16 months old. I can only wish they would spawn every three weeks. They never have and I doubt they ever will.
It is pretty cool to be having so much success with so many different species of Loricaridae species. Congratulations. Discovering the first spawns of a species and finding new fry are always pleasing and are big reinforcements that let you know you must be doing something right.

I have just a pair. they were a trio, but the one female die on the breeding .

she get blow on the breeding proces and after a couple days she die.

Im stimulating the dry season and after cople of weeks im making a big water change 70%

I belive next time I will be more lucky :YMPRAY:

I have a pair of L-260 (I think so) and I bought it as wild cought. I breed it the secont day that I bought it, but the eggs never hatched. I breed it again after a couple of months I hatch the fry but after two days it die. since then no breedings

so I give the female to a friend that he have a group of six adults two males and four females
he have a problem to breed the L-260 too.he breed a pair last year and thats it since then.

I love my plecos

I feel very lucky to have and breed this wonderful fish
