Re: pygmy cory
I got a group of 20 of these little guys about a month ago from Brian at CorysRus. Nice guy, very professional, fish came in healthy and well packed. I have bought from these guys a few times, and have always received quality stuff. Good luck.

I check invertz factory and they have it on the list, but that list is from last year and not sure if they are still in business cause i email them and already been 1 day without answer.
Now..did you need to quarantine them ..cause on their site they say they did it.

Re: pygmy cory
I have ordered from www.coryrus.com many times.
I would recommend that you quarantine the new fish and feed them all the newly hatched brine shrimp, Grindal worms and even live black worms they want.
I have had both good and bad experiences with Brian's fish.
I was impressed with his quality and large selection when he opened up but over the years my experiences have been that the fish are no better nor worse than those from any one else.
It doesn't matter who you buy your fish from. If you do not implement a quarantine period into your acquisition of any new fish from any source, including me, then you do so at your own peril. It simply isn't worth the risk to the healthy fish you already have to skip a quarantine period. Using as much live food as you can with new fish like Corydoras to Cardinal Tetras can help get them into excellent condition that much quicker. Obviously the best diet will depend on what kind of fish you are buying.
If something comes up and you find you have to treat some disease it is much easier in a bare bottom quarantine tank and avoid cross contamination by setting aside equipment to only be used in the quarantine tank.
Being prepared with a well stocked fish medicine chest before you receive new fish is always wise. No matter how good of health the fish are in when they are bagged by the dealer, once they leave their possession they have no control over the conditions encountered during transit. Now is a good time to order fish on line because it isn't likely the fish will get too cold. I have yet to lose any fish due to them getting too warm.
Another on line dealer I have have been happy with is the www.wetspotcx.com as they are known on aquabid. I do not know if they have C. pygmeus in stock but they are usually easy to find. Another place I like is www.franksaquarium.com. Frank specializes in importing "nano-fish"; species known to stay very small.
Frank often has C. pygmeus in stock. Frank sometimes may also have some species which can grow quite large.
At this time of the year, many fish may be safely sent via priority mail. I would not hesitate to ship or receive any of the dwarf Corydoras by priority mail. There is no cheaper shipping option in the USA. The fish will be in transit for 3 days but with proper packing methods that should not be a problem. No one will guarantee live arrival when using priority mail but if the fish are not expensive, are small, pretty hardy and well packed they should be fine. Even if live arrival is guaranteed the customer has to pay the freight again. So if the fish are only $2.00 each it isn't worth paying for premium freight. If you are buying adult wild Discus then you should spare no expense and use an over night delivery carrier. They won't survive 2 or 3 days inside bags.

Re: pygmy cory
No worries with them. I have ordered many fish from Brian with no issues. I have also ordered from Pedro at Invertz factory numerous times, also with no issues. I had a group of 24 cory hastatus that I ordered from wetspot arrive with all but 2 dead. The remaining 2 died the next day. They were sent 2nd day and there were no delays in shipping. I am in Mass. Good luck.
