advertized as a black form of C.venezuelanus. central Llanos
Does any one know anything about this guy .I saw it advertized and like it I would like to know if anyone keeps it and how big does it get

I have yet to come across any in a shop, but if I did I would have to buy some! It may be a Corydoras Venezuela which at the moment it is deemed to be a variation of Aeneus (but this is up for debate it has been speculated that it could be a different species). That aside it should like similar conditions to Aeneus, growing to a size of 6-7.5cm should be straight forward to care for.

These black beauties are pretty common here in Czech republic and you can get them for less than $5. To my knowledge they don't usually grow to a size of 6cm TL.

Wholesale tropicals in London (Bethnal Green Road) had a "black cory" (unknown to me [don't remember what the label said] exactly which species) when I was there a couple of weeks back.

Thanks guys I am going to season my tanks for one more week with minnows and then I will be ready for some new fish .
I hope these little black guys are still avalable.
