you make me really want one too, Rob
aren't you jumping-out-of-your-pants happy that you got a potentially 59" fish instead of a 20 incher?
in my book you seriously lucked out given that their aesthetic features are very close

Viktor , you can have mine!
Now i hear what you're saying and yes Im very happy at having this unique species.
Just very difficult to cater for given its potential size & incompatabilty at present with anything else.
At least my Big SA Cats can co-inhabit together.
I took 3 weeks of work a month ago and moved around 80% of my fish house & also installed a new 600 Gallon Pond (approx 8.5' x 4.5')
This fish was in a 4'x3' Pond for 2 days with some of my other Cats & it mauled one of my other Clarias B so badly on the 1st night it never recovered - very upset as had,had that fish about 6 years.
Will try it again in the new Bigger Pond but if it starts chasing my other Big Cats again not sure where I'll put the thing.

@CRK:
@Rob: wow, sorry to hear; they must have beeen of comparable sizes too but the tank/pond was real small for them, of course. Please keep us posted of the compatibility successes and failures.
