New Melini

Post by MystusFish »

Just picked these up at what appears to have been a steal of deal as they were mixed in with other cories. The shop owner looked said they were melinis' after checking his stock list and said they shouldn't have been mixed in the tank that they were sold to me out of for less then $3 each :d Figured I'd post a few picks to just double check that they are what they were sold to me as so down the road I can increase the size of the school of them with more of the same species....

What a good find and deal.
It took me most of a year haunting shops in the Seattle area to finally collect 6 C. melini. I like their understated beauty.
They are probably easier to find now since that was about 17 years ago but they will usually cost about $6 or $7 each in a shop.
