L199

Post by macks »

Hello I have just got a male and female L199. Which I`m hoping to breed and was wondering if this set up is ok?

My hma water has a ph of 7.3 and temp of 25C
The pair are in a 80L tank with a fluval u4 filter

What food should they be given (at the minute they are eating frozen bloodworm, New Era plec pellets) I`ve read they eat prawns and was wondering would the prawns from tescos be ok that or cooked and peeled

Any other advice you can give would be much appreciated

Thanks for any help

I have a breeding group of 5 (3m2f, 1f died sadly...) and loads of baby's.
I feed them dried foods like Sera Viformo, O.S.I. shrimp pellets and Spirulina. But every day I feed them frozen foods, artemia, mysis, red(blood) and black worms and sometimes mussles.
Your setup is fine. My temperature is 30 degrees celsius.

Good luck :-BD
