Snails for supper?
I was sitting at my computer when I looked over at the nearest tank. There was my newly aquired L-014 Sunshine up on the front glass. Well, I had to take this opportunity to examine his (of that I'm now sure) underside. Nice full belly, good color, no sign of damage. Then, much to my surprise he came across a small snail (I've let them go in that tank for my clown loaches) and proceeded to suck it into his mouth. I watched him roll it around a couple of times then down the hatch it went. That is the first time I have seen a pleco eat a snail and I was wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing?
Plecos are the true centerpieces of any aquarium. Everything else just swims around them!!
