gorgeous redtail and rare leopard catfish
I have a beautiful redtail catfish named Bella and a rare RTC x TSN for adoption. They about 18" and in need of a good home with space. docile, dont attack other fish and eat all types of food. chicken heart, fish, shrimp. kills me to give them away, but its the right thing to do. they need spave. anyone in the NY NJ area with large tanks please contact me @ 347 234 3052 or giulianofaria@gmail.com

I dont know if he would be keen for them but IMHO the best person on here for your beloved fish would be Viktor, EVERY single thing I have read from him makes me a firm believer he is one of the best equiped folks to care for big fish.
Hope you find them a a grade home.
Regards,
Brett

I doubt Giuliano will read this but I spoke to him on the phone just now and he does not want to give his fish to any store, even as great as Shark Aquarium, Hillside, NJ, because he wouldn't know who will buy them then. He wants to make sure they will be taken best care of. Very admirable on my scale, sacrificing financial gain for love and even offering to offset my gas bill for traveling to NYC.
Brett, I will never live up to your extraordinary generous characterization of my person as a fish keeper and forum goer but I will surely strive and aspire to. Thanks!
Dave (Rinaldo), thanks for pointing out this thread to me!

Unfortunately, most people who buy these fish don't understand what they are setting themselves up for when they buy these fish. Not only do they grow fairly large (and possibly quickly) and many live for a long time too.
