They are usually available on Aquabid. But since they are illegal to export as wild fish from Brazil, and they don't exactly breed like rabbits, and the fry take a year or so to get to 1" or so. This is what makes these fish hard to get. If they produced 1000 fry per year that reach 2" in 4 months, like Ancistrus do quite easily [if you have enough space to house all of them], then it wouldn't be so hard to get H. zebra.
