Hemiodontichthys acipenserinus
hi there,
i would like to present new species of sand loving catfish...i keep four of them in a 50x30x30cm tank
as they are mouth breeding the males carry the eggs in their large mouth pocket until the fry will hatch...
as these adult animals are very slow eaters i keep them in a species-tank on sand bottom and a small airfiltered filter. the size of them is around 12cm
i hope to breed them in the next few weeks time...time will tell.

DOA = Dead On Arrival.
Jon, sorry to hear that - seems a long way around to get fish from Germany when you are in the US, and the fish comes from South America - but I do know that Glaser has some very good contacts...
