I have one male and have a chance to get 2m:1f. I will plan to add a bunch of unsexed juveniles to my group, but they take a long time to mature.
Would you just buy the female and the unsexed juveniles? Or will the 3m:1f and a bunch of babies get along OK?
My former group spawned regularly in my 75G African tank (small, peaceful haps and peacocks)...I think I had 3m:2f before.

I would get both males, if you only get one something happens to your only male and then you may not be able to find another. Just keep an eye on the two for aggression but I would think they would be okay as long as the tank is not too small.Would you just buy the female and the unsexed juveniles?
