Re: New wild catfishes, ID if possible.
Hi,
I guess they are from the surroundings of Manaus ?!
The first one is a cory of the aeneus group, no idea if this one has a number or not.
The colouring reminds a bit also C. concolor but this species is from Venezuela/Colombia (Rio Meta basin) and the shape is a bit different.
The second one should be C. vittatus (Rio Branco system north of Manaus) or C 155 (Rio Purus, south of Manaus) depending on the catching location. No. 5, 6 and 7 seems to be the same one, perhaps this can be better seen when settled in a tank.
Cheers,

The fish on 3,8,10,11 is or . It will be good to see the belly and to know where they came from for better ID.
I think it is imposible to 4 ID what is on this pic, but I think it is some kind of Ancistrus.
9 - looks like to be

Hi,
the big one is a Pterygoplichthys punctatus. P. weberi has less and bigger spots.
The small one is an Ancistrus for sure, and it really looks like L 309. But the pics aren´t sufficient to identify the fish to 100%.
