Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
A picture from above of #2 would be helpful to tell it apart between a Lasiancistrus and Pseudolithoxus.

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
Hi,
1. Baryancistrus beggini / L 239
2. It´s not Pseudolithoxus anthrax, this species has smaller dots and much more than the shown specimen. It is neither Ancistrus sp. "Puerto Ayacucho", cause of the very flat head. If I wouldn´t have known the origin, I´d say L 33 as well, but this species is just known from Rio Araguaia. Much to far away I think. Lasiancistrus for sure. Have a look at the lower caudal ray, it is much longer than the one above. That´s typical for Lasiancistrus, Pseudolithoxus don´t show this characteristic.
3. Peckoltia sp. "L 147"

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
Thanks, it looks like my order doesnt have any of the actual fish I ordered!
I have now included a picture of above as requested and also others that came in the shipment to see if any are as they should be.
This is my invoice, and the fish they should be in all the pictures, I know for certain I have the green phantoms, any sign of the scobiancistrus or sabaji? Blue phantom I know is missing and they cost a bomb.
l082 Scobiancistrus
l340 megaclown simular 173
l124 peckoltia sabaji
l200 loricaridae
l128 chaestotoma
Thanks again

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
Indeed, looks like you didn't get much of the species you asked for - the L340 may be correct, or they are pretty looking L129 - they are not L173 that's for sure. And one can be excused for confusing L124 with L387 (or L147).
L128 (Blue Phantom) shouldn't be much more expensive than L200 - there's a dollar difference on the list I have.

Last picture does look like a L82 but I'm not 100% sure.
would it possible to get more pictures of the head?

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
I think the last picture is something like or L201. But a clearer picture is needed to make sure.

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
protaras, are 2 and 6 the pictures of different or the same fish?
As for me 6 is L235.
I agree 1,3,4,5,7,8 with Janne.
Fish 2 realy look like L033, but my logic was that L033 from Lower Amazon not Columbia.

Re: Columbian imports - 3 species crept in - IDs?
Hi
Well I have 8 fish like pictures 2 and 6 in the same tank, so I have no way of knowing if I pictured the same one twice or not. but I assume they are the same fish as they came in same bag.
My main concern is with picture 4 as I have about 10-15 large specimens of these and expected them to be L124, but guess they are a much more common species.
Included another couple of pictures of the difficult to name species pictured.
thanks

Thanks for the pictures of the head of fish 8 - it is not an L82 as thought by me but agree withprotaras wrote:Hi
