Hello all. Im wondering if this little guys a cross or pure. Im assuming hybrid. Size is about 2"

My knee-jerk reaction is that no purebred synos have a dorsal and caudal colored like that. So must be a hybrid. But it is not unlike an elf (me) throws a small pebble at a monster after the Goliath (Silurus) already killed it. :)

Beautiful fish though. I have never seen such a hybrid. Shoutedeni in lineage?

Id like to know as well. I see many hybrids around here, but never these before. Most are based on decora or euptera.

To be honest i cannot say what the parentage is although i might hazaed a guess, but this is the hybrid being offerred as genuine ornatipinnis
