I have only seen a few of theses lovely fish in captivity.

They are amazing as are all pims but sadly out of the bounds of most fish keepers due to size.
Like most pims they can become quite smart.
Sadly some one brought a Red Tail Cat in to the LFS were I work and I only work Sundays but I have got it to eat from my fingers and also to swim through a hole I make with my hands

Thank you all! He is hiding right now but in a few days he should be out and about.
I just whish they stayed this small, and looked the same as adults.
Thanks again.

Wow, speachless. Never seen a baby I guess. So pretty and so much unlike my three L. pictuses - I can barely see the "saddle" lighter-colored band on them and the spots of the dorsal (they are 1', 1.5', and 2'). Is this usual with these fish, i.e., such an outstanding clear pattern in young and a nearly complete loss of it in sub-adults and adults? Or is it that this fella is wild-caught or freshly caught?
