Hi- I'm hoping someone with a better understanding of the Panaque nigrolineatus complex can help me with this fish- it was bought 26 months ago as a dull-eyed royal, L191, and at the time seemed to be a good match for the pictures of juveniles in the Cat-eLog. However, it doesn't seem to match exactly now- not least it's eyes seem anything but dull? Is it L191 or another nigrolineatus/cf. nigrolineatus variant?
Apologies for poor quality pics- it's not at all shy until the camera comes out- the only way to get a picture is to drop some pellets in, which just makes the feeding area a scrum of other fish.

It's a (L190). When very small they can resemble but the easiest way to distinguish them is the eyes. L191 have dull grey/brown eyes whereas L190 have red eyes.

Thanks Matthew- I suspected as much, but just wanted some confirmation.
