Re: Pleco from YouTube.
I believe the thoughts are that they are one of the less common L-numbers. But it's not certain, from what I know.

The pattern looks similar to . Very nice looking fish. I wonder if it looses its nice patterns when it grows older like the L065 do?

Since I had "they are" I was including L065 in that question. I should have just mentioned L065 but dont want to hijack this thread talking about a somewhat similar appearing species.

Re: Pleco from YouTube.
Hi,
just to complete this topic:
The shown pleco is not even closer related to L 65, which is a Pseudacanthicus. Just have a look at the mouth(http://www.l-welse.com/reviewpost/showp ... 379/cat/36), the barbels are a typical characteristic of Leporacanthicus.
Glaser once imported a Leporacanthicus from Venezuela reminding me of that one: http://www.aquariumglaser.de/de/leporac ... e_993.html
When I wrote the article for http://www.l-welse.com I asked Ivan, the owner and captor, about it. He told me, that it would be the only specimen. And he didn`t want to sell. But this is, I dont know, I think 3 years ago....
