You can get them on aquabid for 135.00 all year round. It will be much cheaper than waiting for a store to get it and mark it up at least 2x.

Don't know but they do appear rare (never seen one for sale in any of LFSs I've been to) and expensive. I was offered a footer from RiverWonders for $500 half a year ago - that was only chance so far (did not buy it).
That is if you are talking about ogre catfish (Astrophysus, not Ompok).
