Constant spawning health risks?

Post by rhibear »

My prized C. Schultzei has been spawning almost every day for the last 4 weeks. I've raised her water temp in the hopes of stopping her but it has only barely slowed her down.
The eggs/babies arent the issue, I'm happy to move the eggs and raise the fry but I was hoping to show her at AACC2010 next weekend and I'm concerned that she's wearing herself out. Is this even possible?

Hi,
I wouldn't worry about her. I have 2 breeding pairs of julii cories that never stop breeding and it hasn't affected them at all.
Hope this helps, Calicocat
