It is at least partly wrong, as the type location of Porto Seguro technically applies to the junior synonym, C. glaber.

Synonyms seem to be correct, the rest of the information isn't particularly relevant, I think.

Marc probably should fill in the synonyms, I will fill in some other info from Fishbase/CoF.

Edit: And it is more work than it's worth, as we have to check out all the details that Rudolf supplies - it would be much easier if someone posted "Species <clog-link> doesn't have much information, can someone please look some up and fill it in..." - because with the clog-link, I can at least get to the species quickly, and then get to fishbase etc from there.

For the public record, the moderators have been given instructions to move posts of this nature from this particular user to the resolved issues forum, with the note that the information posted is not useful.

I like “this is crap” better. It sums up my feeling on the whole issue and it's a lot easier to type.

Expect more of the same from me in the future.

Indeed, what I specifically meant was if there's a single issue, don't waste your time as we have had not a single clean submission from Rudolf to date. Yet, all other data submitters regularly manage it! I find it difficult to actually hand out a warning though - maybe I should. Meantime, thanks for checking this Mats, clearly it goes in the bin again. :-(

And now that the data subimission is fixed, I'll try to make an update during the afternoon. Unfortunately, I closed the tab... :(

Yes, sorry about that, I spotted the problem about a week ago and then promptly forgot. It's now a lot more secure AND works!
