Red Lizard Whiptails
Red Lizard Whiptails
I have 6 of these guys, most about 3" long. I know that it would be best to keep them in a tank all to themselves, but I have a limited amount of tanks and space. Will they breed despite being housed with some juvenile ancistris claro? If all conditions are right? Thank you

Re: Red Lizard Whiptails
I would expect such a breeding setup would work. Just keep an eye on the water quality, as Ancistrus [along with most other plecos] tend to produce quite a bit of waste...

I would also think the ancistrus to be egg snatchers... I lost some of my latest L127's due to ancistrus eating the eggs.MatsP wrote:I would expect such a breeding setup would work.
