Online site to buy pleco caves?

Post by Suckermouth »

Hey guys, what's a good online site in the US to buy pleco caves? I need multiple sizes for multiple kinds of Hypancistrus. I've looked around and found some sites and sellers on aquabid but I thought I'd ask for some feedback.

i get mine from zcliff. He posts here sometimes and mainly on pl*cofanatics and i think pl*coplanet.

I like his because the lids come off. just lift off. and he does real nice work and it's very economical. shipping and speed and all is top notch.

I have bought many caves from both guys and they are both great. zcliff (Larry) is a member on plecoworld.org, and that may be the best place to contact him. You may also want to try Rosenthalpottery, where if he doesn't have it, Evan will make it for you. Good luck.

I got 30+ caves from plecocaves.com last year as a group buy for my local fish forum last year and it was a great experience. Very nice guy, organized and well packaged. Great caves too.

I've also bought from the same guy...

I have to admit that his packaging was great and very well protected to ensure delivery... provides FedEX tracking so you can see it as it arrives..

The only thing i have to say is that if you want EXTRA EXTRA large caves.. for anything 12" and Bigger.. it cost up to 40-50 ea.. and for that price.. I would just go to a old vintage store store a buy old vases or water jugs.. the old fashion milk jugs.. They work just as nice and cheaper..

Otherwise.. if your looking for small pleco caves.. go with the guy..
