Major: Now what's this... stone, stone, stone, (looks down at his hand) and scissors. Now. Scissors cut everything, don't they?
Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

OK, I will go with your view of what needs moved - if you'd care to give me sequence numbers of those that need moved? On a more technical note, does the Pimelodus carcio synonym now belong to the resurrected species?Silurus wrote:Some of the photos in are of M. carcio.

Cool. There seems to be some difference in adipose fin - is there anything else I should be looking at? Interestingly, photo 2 and 10 are from the same exporter.Silurus wrote:1–3, 5–9, 11–12 are M. carcio.OK, I will go with your view of what needs moved - if you'd care to give me sequence numbers of those that need moved?

Re: Redescription of Mystus carcio
The data sheet is pretty empty too - if HH (or someone else) sends me a copy, I'll update the data sheet. [Unless someone else has already done it!].

Re: Redescription of Mystus carcio
HH,
I have now amended and - could I just check that all pictures are in the right place as you suggested? Also, if you can spare the time, would it be possible for you to submit a revised ID section for one or both species explaining how to tell these species apart and indeed anything else of interest like distribution or whatever?
Thanks,
Jools
