When you say that it's little, I would guess that it's actually bordering on "teenager", at around 1.5-2"/4-5cm. There is of course nothing to scale on in the picture, so I'm just guessing. I would also GUESS that it's possibly a female - particularly if it's at the 2"+ size. The tummy looks quite "wide", which is a sign of a female.
I'm not sure why I'm writing this, because it's quite possibly all wrong. ;)
