Post pictures of your beloved catfish aquaria here. Also good for pictures of your (cat)fish rooms or equipment discussions. If you are posting pictures of identified catfish, please do so in the appropriate husbandry and reproduction forum above.
one thing is disturbing!
you should not keep different hypancistrus together, as they will if they do meet produce hybrides!! and this is novadays not really what we need on the market.
the few catfish that still exists (many are stopped to export )shoult keep a true name a specially a real colouration. soon as there are hybrids the ghetto will start. they will look nice but no one knows what is is ! and even worse hybrides will mate with any other hypancistrus! if with "real ones" or with other hybrides.
try to keep them separated or stock up to just one species!
Dear Farid, i understand your point about what's disturbing you and probably other members, but until now my catfish haven't meet yet to produce( and i'm honest to say that'll be happy if they do... ) and i won't sell them or do anything on the market. I've started this tanksetup about three years ago with the thought to have different species and not one species because i like the difference between them.
It's a matter of taste.
