Hypancistrus ID
They were bought as Hypancistrus sp. L260 in German. But it is not look like L260.
I have no idea where they came from.
I suppose it could be Hypancistrus sp. L411.
Is there any idea?:)

Re: Hypancistrus ID
In the bottom photo I spy a nose of a 260, but the main subject in the photo does appear to be an L411. In the photo above that one the fish in question also looks to be a 411, but I think I see a pec fin of a 260 in the bottom of the photo. How many did you get? Did they all look the same, or did you already have some 260s?

You are right at the bottom and middle pictures there are parts of L260. But this L260 weren't bought together with the main subject. I had some L260 before.
I've got 5 of them. How many did you get?

Re: Hypancistrus ID
I agree the most are L411, but at the last picture, on the left looks like a L260.

Re: Hypancistrus ID
Thanks for replies:)
So it it definitely Hypancistrus sp. L411.
But why mine are less contrast color then for example this one
I understand that I'm a bad photographer:) and that mine are frightened, but even though the difference is too big.
Is there any ideas?

Re: Hypancistrus ID
They are only that brightly coloured when young. As they grow older, they get duller colours.
