Is there breeding accounts for L.oncinus?

Post by Caol_ila »

Hi!

I am pretty certain that i have a m/f of Liosomadoras oncinus. The fem is around 12 cm right now with the male being much smaller at around 10 but about half as massive.
Have they been bred in captivity?
My guess would be that if the fem truly maxes out at 25 cm she is far too young right now...so just for future consideration...
Rainy season conditions would be blackwater with no hardness and no NOx and quite low temps at around 22-23°C? And if i have to seperate them for the fem to spread the eggs how do i know shes ready?
cheers

I guess it would have to be a case of trial and error since I don't think anyone has succeeded breeding them yet.

best of luck,
