Scleromystax kronei
There was a temperary name given to a simialar fish a few years back.
I seem to remember its ID for a time as "Biahanao II" or similar nomer.
What was the correct name used for that fish & has it been described ?
Thanks

Baianinho II = C112. - Frank
I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!

Frank,
Frank
A couple more questions if you have time.
Is anyone working on a description of C112 ? Who ?
Looking at pictures, I see only color differences...are they from different locations?
I have a pair that were sold as C112 (B II) I also have a friend that has S. kronei that he received from you. I need to let mine get a bit older and comepare the two groups and try to determine if the B II are IDed correctly.
Do you have photos that you know are C112 that you will share ?
Thanks for your time

I have no idea. I'm sure there are others here who may be able to answer that, for you.Ironhead wrote:Frank, A couple more questions if you have time. Is anyone working on a description of C112 ? Who ?

They are both from the same general locale, with more detailed information available for S. kronei.
That should not be difficult. They have distinct differences.I have a pair that were sold as C112 (B II) I also have a friend that has S. kronei that he received from you. I need to let mine get a bit older and comepare the two groups and try to determine if the B II are IDed correctly.
I do not keep C112. I do have a beautiful group of C113's which are steady spawners, but I have only raised a few to young adulthood. I have not had them very long.Do you have photos that you know are C112 that you will share ?
I appears that most of the C112's are in the UK. I am not aware of anyone in the US keeping them.
No problem, at all. - FrankThanks for your time
