These fish are super sensitive to water conditions. They seem to like planted tanks: I actually could see 2 during the day time after having put 3 in. They will take Hikari sinking pellets, taking chunks out of the thing.

Sorry for stating the obvious, if that's how it appears. They do have a really interesting swimming style.
