Spotted this (in with Cranoglanis bouderius@£299!) and have no idea, but would be interested to know. Seen at BAS.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that is one skinny fish.

I want to say or something like it, though I'm not seeing nasal barbels...

Pseudomystus was my 1st thought but i couldn't see nasal barbels either - BAS have has a few species of Pseudomystus in but it looks like a very poor condition pseudopimelodus sp1 or something similar

Yeah, I'm not really confident in my ID, but that snout looks a little different than I'd expect for a Pseudopimelodus, not that I have seen many.

I am not convinced that the fish in question is a Pseudopimelodus. I'm more inclined to think it's a of some kind.

Well whatever it is it didn't appear to be for sale. Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll take a look at them.

Poor thing looks virtually Dead :(

At least provide some shelter for the thing, Bad shops = A pet Hate.
If it's not for sale it shouldn't be on display.
Needs quarantining & looking after.
