Re: NEW FISH
Let me start by saying I'm 99.9% sure that your "L366" is NOT L366 - it looks like it may be a or species, but it's pretty hard to say from those pictures.
The L330 is definitely very nice, and you have a tank that is large enough for quite a few years worth of growth on it.
A close-up picture of the fish would help quite a lot, including a clear shot of the mouth.

Re: NEW FISH
They are lovely looking plecos,I was in a Pets at Home and they were selling an L number,I cant remember what it was for £29.99.
My freind who know's his plecos pointed out it was a different sp. that usually sell's for around £5.
It was a genunie mistake, the fish came in from the wholesaler saying it was the L number it was supposed to be.
I imagine this sort of thing must happen quite alot and it can work the other way around and someone with an eye for plecos must find some real bargain's.
That L330 is quite stunning.

Re: NEW FISH
Thanks for the kind words on the L330. As for the L 336 mat when i bought the fish the label had on it L 336 scobiancistrus sp tapajos. i asked the man also in wildwoods that that is the correct name and L number, he said yes. I dont honestly know either way i cant seem to find any anywhere else and they only had the one in.Will try and take some better pics when i can im not that good with cameras, i dont think its a the baryancistrus they had a few of them in there.
Just had a look thre catelog i think he looks alot like scobinancistrus L368, what you think mat??

Re: NEW FISH
L336 is a Chaetostoma - which is clearly NOT your fish, and L366 is a Hypostomus, which is also not your fish. L368 is quite possible - and it even matches the Rio Tapajos location, assuming that's where it came from.
And please note that I'm absolutely not saying that Wildwoods are doing something wrong. There are 400+ L-numbers, and it's quite hard to keep track of exactly the right ones.

Re: NEW FISH
Yes, and if you have poor handwriting, a 6 and an 8 could look about the same - so it's quite possible that this is cause of the problem.
Nice fish...

Re: NEW FISH
Yes very true well thats that one sorted am well happy with them both, they have both been eating well and been out and about around the tank. The rusty plec has also noticed the watermelon and doesnt like to share his piece of bogwood with him so he will have to choose one of the other two i think well at least untill his a little bigger lol
