Aquafin (Japan) are at it again! Any ideas what these are? Labelled 'Queen of Mega Crown Real', 10-12 cm, from Madeira...

(remember to disable the * in pleco in your control panel if you don't see these, that goes for the link too)

Could they be the same as these?:

not me at the first time... to much hard work open links that not are correct in the url's... maybe time to change the * in pleco and make it able to link directly... for example, I'm in Brazil with a very slow conection, how fun is that (and I'm not lone).?

You can turn that off by going to User Control Panel, then selecting "Board Preferences" and then "Edit display options" and setting "enable word censoring" to "No".

Or follow the instructions I posted, which turns off the * in pleco and ***** in cichlid feature.

I don't think so, as the "old" ones are white while the new ones are orange/brown. But they do look similar when it comes to body shape. I am not all that convinced that these are Hypancistrus, though. They look more like Peckoltia to me. But really nice fish (apart from the price.. ).

Thank you Matt I was able to see the pictures and I agree they don't look to be Hypancistrus

I wonder if the background has something to do with their color...
a very nice fish in deed
