Yes - but thats probably because im a regular quizzer.

Apart from cherry shrimps, i dont have any other pets at the moment but i have had other stuff in the past - bird-eating spider, stick insects, silk moths, hawk moths, axolotol, newts, water scorpion, great diving water beetle....

Currently we have a Gordon Setter.
Had dogs all my life - border terrier, black labs, jack russell, boxer.
Also have a pond with a stream and a rill, occupied by sarasa comets and shubs, + the tropicals of course.
I grew up with banthams, racing pigeons (my dad's), rabbit, gerbils, hamsters.

If I lived alone, I would have a white duck a la Far Side. Maybe a skunk too. But all I have is a hubby named Joe and two very busy indoor cats. I have several dust-bunnies as well.

Outside is a different story, eastern painted turtles decorate my lawn once a year like a thousand coins and 46 species of birds. Lots of other reptile, insect and amphibian critters. The bluejays and crows *Think* they're my pets  They give you 'the look' from the windowsill if you don't hear them the first time and come running with the peanuts. Ditto for the chipmunks.

Richard B: Just had a news story last week with people suggesting names for a group of lobsters. If there's a correct answer, no one knew it, was very funny. a boil, a claw-ster, a clique, a trap etc.
Racing, shoes and fish. Nothing else matters. Oh, and bacon.

The Manic Menagerie includes:
4 dogs; Dexter, Sissy Sue, Regal, and Keeley Kai.

4 Rabbits; Blueberry, Coal, Butterscotch, and Yeti.
2 Horses (both mares); Magic and Firefly.
2 goats; Melody and Misty (we sold Buck yesterday).
2 Embden Geese; George and Gracie.
3 Bantam Chickens; 2 roosters, Rocky and Rusty, and 1 hen, Snowball.
And Blind Willie, the quail.

Oh, and a ten-year-old Daughter.

Interesting pets from the past included a Dungeness crab, a western diamondback rattlesnake, and a bat.

A group of lobsters is a swarm, or a clique, but a group af bears is a coven, a group of crows is a murder, and a group of politicians is a conspiracy.

Currently:

2 dogs
3 cats
A room full of natal rats and feeder mice for...

The snakes!:
5 ball pythons
4 Brazilian rainbow boas
2 Pakistani sand boas
5 adult Kenyan sand boas
2 new-under-yearling sand boas

between 20-30 leopard tortoises, ornate turtles, eastern and three-toed box turtles, and one lucky Russian caught over 20 years ago. These are my inheritance; we have had nearly all of them for over 15 years.
But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I will be unique in all the world..... You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

I was 19 when I had the bat. I would assume (based on his size) that he was microchiroptera. A buddy picked him off of the side of our barracks and brought him to me in a paper grocery bag (that I thought was empty, until I looked inside). Because I didn't know what to feed him, I just offered him a little of everything I could think of, fruit, veggies, meal worms, and crickets. 24 years later, I don't remember which he prefered.
