the word cichlid on here....

Post by skiltrip »

Hi, I'm new here, and i was curious why the word cichlid gets editing out like it's a bad word. quite funny actually. I've also seen people spell it sicklid to avoid the "censoring". i was wondering what's behind that. Thanks!

How about 'twin nostrilled perciform with arched lateral line and small intestine leaving the stomach on the left'? I'ts a bit long-winded though.

or.. those piece of @#$% fish that take up catfish habitat and tend to spawn if left wrapped in a wet papertowel over night.

(says Shane whose siklids currently outnumber catfishes in his fishroom about 10 to 1. What can I do? The damn things outnumber all other fishes here.)
