the word cichlid on here....
the word cichlid on here....
Hi, I'm new here, and i was curious why the word cichlid gets editing out like it's a bad word. quite funny actually. I've also seen people spell it sicklid to avoid the "censoring". i was wondering what's behind that. Thanks!

Check the FAQ - and you can turn it off in your User Control, Board settings (or some such).

How about 'twin nostrilled perciform with arched lateral line and small intestine leaving the stomach on the left'? I'ts a bit long-winded though.

or.. those piece of @#$% fish that take up catfish habitat and tend to spawn if left wrapped in a wet papertowel over night. How about 'twin nostrilled perciform with arched lateral line and small intestine leaving the stomach on the left'? I'ts a bit long-winded though.
(says Shane whose siklids currently outnumber catfishes in his fishroom about 10 to 1. What can I do? The damn things outnumber all other fishes here.)
