Re: First new catfish for 2010 - New Pseudancistrus
I'm guessing that this doesn't have an L-number... Or that there is some other entry for it in the Cat-eLog?

Re: First new catfish for 2010 - New Pseudancistrus
If there is an entry in the Cat-eLog for it, it most certainly isn't in Pseudancistrus. The new species has a color pattern reminiscent of most Peckoltia (i.e. with broad, dark bands).

Re: First new catfish for 2010 - New Pseudancistrus
I'm working on that, but I expect the main author, Phil Willink - we've had contact via e-mail before, will not be available until this afternoon European time. So a few hours to go.CanadaPleco wrote:Any pics?

Re: First new catfish for 2010 - New Pseudancistrus
I've added the new species, the basic data is entered and awaiting Jools approval. I still haven't got any pictures, so that may take some time before that goes in (it also may need a new contributor to be added, which is another thing only Jools can do).

I'm curious if it's something similar to what I might have.

First couple of pictures are in... (I skipped over a bunch of updates of existing species - need to do those too!)

Very interesting species, indeed! That certainly wasn't a Peckoltia! Thank you kindly for the updates.
