River Monsters

Post by Redtailrob »

Anyone see the River Monsters episode last night 15-12-09 on ITV4?
Jeremy Wade looking for monster catfish in the Amazon.

Couldn't stand the whole "killer catfish" concept of the programme & the pure dramatization of Big Cats but still a fantastic program to watch, if only to see some absoulutely stunning specimens of Big Amazonian Cats.
The footage of him craddling giant Jau, Redatil & particlaur Brachypatystome Filamentosum Cats blew me away.
Would be amazing to see fish of that size in the flesh but alive.

I have just watched this. A few interesting bits but sadly its very hyped up. Still worth a watch though
Q) Why are dead fish harder to 'wind up' than live fish?
A) Because dead fish never take the bait! ;)
