My rubbernose and albino BN are getting along. The bn will get pushy at times. But I never see them off the glass. My bn sometimes will go on the wood or plants. But most all the time they stay on the glass. I don't get it. They don't go in the caves or any hide outs.
What is the deal. My other plecos a bn and a clown are normal. They move all around the tank not just on the glass.
Anyone think this is weird? Should I add more rocks to hide in? I have a lot as is. The rubbernose is new. But my bn is not.
Plecos don't come off glass??

Re: plecos don't come off glass??
well perosnally i say that you cant really say every plecos behaviour is the same
they may have different attitudes to the tank
maybe they would know that you bring food and ass soon as they see you their natural instinct tells them to wit on the glass
but never really experinced this-how big are they?
btw my bns when im looking at a decent distance that they dont realise me, always hong on the glass and eat away the alage on the walls

Re: plecos don't come off glass??
Rubbernoses like hard surfaces, either rocks or glass. Mine are mostly on the glass, often on the rocks, and sometimes on the wood. The BN behaviour is a bit unusual I guess.
