Sex Hypancistrus sp. L260

Could you anyone help to sex this L260?
Size 5,5 cm SL or 7 cm TL
Could it be female?

I moved this post to the "more right" forum area.

It's not that easy to sex an individual fish, but I don't see anything indicating a male. That's not the same as it being a female - it may be sub-dominant male too.

I'm afraid that it could be sudominant male.
Here is the photo of two of L260. To the left is 100% male (size 6 cm SL 7,5 cm TL). And to the right is same fish as in the firs pict.

It is hard to compare the fish with that picture, but yes, I still think there is a good chance it's a male - as they are similar size and not very small, I'd expect a female to be a bit "fatter" around the middle area.

Is there any diffrence between the sidefins?
Sometimes you can see the spines if it's a male.

bad angle on the fish to the left, but comparing they both look male to me. The "hips" don't have a curve to them and that usually indicates female.

Well, these two fish are different. The 100% male (to the left) has long otodons at the cheeks and fins. The fish to the right has no otodonts. Also the head of the right fish is narrower then the head of the left one.
The fins are similar (I couldn't find any noticeable different).
And the smaller fish has male body shape (rather thin).
So I'm afraid it is subdominant male, but hope it is female.
