Went to an auction on sunday and told my self that i would be good and NOT buy any more fish - I was going just for plants and food....
Came home with these....:
Synodontis catfish - approx 6inches long:
Was sold as just synodontis, any further ID would be nice
I'll try and get some better photos, but he/she's still hiding a lot at the moment....

For my eye it looks hybrid, maybe ocelliferXnigrita. There is lot of brown syno's on market and most of them are hybrids, unfortunately.

This looks like an ocellifer(maybe) based hybrid indeed - look at the dip between the base of the dorsal spine & the head.
