Hi people, I am new member of this web page. My name is Cesar, I am from shouth Brazil.

Here in my State is not commum to keep cat fish in aquarium, but I will start. I have a house near PARANÁ RIVER where I get lots species of cat fishes, soon I will post pictures to you guys. In my city, there are some rivers I find corydora aeneus, and other species of cat fishes that I dont know the species.

Anyway sorry about my bad english, Soon I wil post lots picutures of cat fishes.

Welcome on this forum. In december I'll go to the north of Uruguay (third time) to collect fishes, amongst them catfishes. I know there are a lot of interesting fishes there, and I 'm guite certain the other side of twe border is just as interestring, so do present the pictures

As many fishes in your region are undescribed, please also note the origin (what river, near which town, or roadcrossing)

Sounds like you live in catfish heaven! As a relative newbie, I'd love to see any pictures as well. Do you already have some tanks going? Feel free to post any pics you already have.

Hi guys, I am sure you will enjoy my pictures. Here is full of cat fishes. Today was independence day in Brazil and I went in a river near my home, but I just found shrimp and some poecilia sp. But there, for sure there is cat fishes, and I will try ogain. Also I have a house in PORTO ROSANA, in PARANÁ RIVER , there also is full of cat fishes, some of them we eat (sorry but its the true, they are delicious ) Soon I post pictures. bye.
