Jaguar catfish
Hi i have a 50 gallon tank contaning corkbark and bogwood housing two mature jaguar catfish, i have read that jaguars like their own space and a min tank for two is 50 gallons. But they stay with each other during the day inside a corkbark tube i made, there is lots of other hiding places but they stay together could they have paired off and could they breed?

Re: Jaguar catfish
I am assuming you are talking about
I have a male and female that stay together even when given many choices and with others of the same species in the tank...they even did this after being moved from another tank.
I am not saying yours are a pair though, if they are mature it should be not too difficult to tell the sexes.

If you are still having trouble sexing, a photo from the side would let us help you.
