Two new Acestridium

Post by Silurus »

Reis, RE & P Lehmann A, 2009. Two new species of Acestridium Haseman, 1911 (Loricariidae: Hypoptopomatinae) from the Rio Madeira basin, Brazil. Copeia 2009: 446–452.

Abstract

Acestridium gymnogaster and A. scutatum are described as new from small tributaries to the middle Rio Madeira, Amazonas, Brazil. Acestridium gymnogaster is most similar to A. discus from which it differs in the number of medial unpaired predorsal plates, the arrangement of chromatophores in predorsal area, and the absence of contact midventrally between the lateral abdominal plates. Acestridium scutatum is most similar to A. triplax from which it differs in having a longer snout and by the shape of the preanal plate. A key to the species of Acestridium is provided.

Hi Silurus,
How do I go about getting a copy of this? Is it somewhere on-line or only available to subscribers? Never asked before

Thanks

Thanks Mats
The link is taking me to a page that only has the abstract. It says: "The article you have requested is available via Journal Subscription" :(
Maybe the above is the full article?

Seems like they had it "wrong" - the page was definitely giving me the full text when I tried it.

Bummer.
Maybe I'll be able to find a copy at the university library. Looks like they have a billion subscriptions. Thanks for trying.
