these fish where shipped to me as LDA-074. the shippment originated in columbia. what do you think. i will add pic's as they become available.

this is another shot from side. the common named used was blue meddusa pleco. they do have area's of blue tinting

Hi,
well, the "medusa pleco" as I recall it (I´m not so good at common names, especially from different countries) is supposed to be Ancistrus ranunculus.
They are fairly similar to Ancistrus macrophthalmus regarding the body shape, but A. macrophthalmus has larger eyes (hence the name).
And since the eyes of the fish in your pictures are larger than I saw in A. ranunculus (never saw a live A. macrophthalmus as yet), it should be A. macrophthalmus.
