Bronze cory VS albino?

Post by Taratron »

In the months that my 20 Long has been set up, I've had a trio of albino bronze cories, and a trio of bronze within the tank.

Both trios have been in the tank for around the same time. They get the similar amount of food (save the albinos seem to chomp down on the zucchini more!).

But the bronze have nearly doubled in size, and the albinos have not grown at all.

Any ideas?

Are there any other albino phases of cories that are similar to bronze? Physically, other than color, they appear to be the same!

Well, there are albino peppered corys, which is what you may have instead (since peppered corys are a little smaller than bronze corys at maximum size).

Does anyone have a picture of both albino aeneus and albino peppereds?

I believe the Cat-eLog has pics of albino forms of both species.
