Are these Acanthadoras Spinosissimus?

Hi all,
I imported these as Acanthadoras Spinosissimus...but they don't look like the pics posted here.

They look like the fish I got as Amblydoras hancockii, now

but I'm not 100 % certain. Still, if I could get to your site by car, I'd be there tomorrow

I'd have to agree with Bas, though am astounded there are no pics of this fish in the catelog - if you don't mind am sure Jools would like some pics of these...

Identification.... Commonly misidentified as Amblydoras hancockii, this is a different species and can be found as
Amblydoras nauticus

Identification.... Reasonably easy to ID although young fish can look quite variable. Some degree of sexual dichromatism exists and the males bear a resemblance to the larger
Anadoras grypus

Dave,
I'm confused. Which species are you saying these are? They are about 4", so I'm guessing that they're (close to) adult size. They often send the wrong fish out of Brazil. I checked the links, and I didn't see any that looked like these. They could be still be stressed out, as I've only had them 24 hours. But they are swimming around and eating, so I'm guessing this is thier normal coloration.

Actually, if they are imported out of Peru or Colombia then they are indeed likely to be however there are a couple of very similar (visually) species that are worth looking into too.
